Don Rantz will guide you through learning and enhancing your skills in the enchanting medium of pastels. Internationally recognized as one of the best pastel artists, Don is open and eloquent in his instruction.

Beginning to Intermediate Plein Air Watercolor Class
 Class Description: Have you been wanting to learn to paint with watercolor, especially outdoors, but don’t know how do you do it, what to bring, or where to begin? Then, this is your answer!
This class is for all watercolor enthusiasts to understand the basics of in plein air (In plein air is a French expression which means "in the open air") watercolor painting. This class will be held both in the classroom and on location.
Some drawing and painting experience is helpful but not required.

Fridays: Uninstructed Life Drawing
We are offering a Life Drawing subscription for June and/or July in our air conditioned 
studio with our new lighting. Stop by our studio to see our new lighting system to really appreciate it.
The subscription fee will be $40.00 for four sessions on Friday afternoons from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM during June. July's class will be interrupted by the 4th of July weekend so there will be only three sessions offered during this month so the cost will be $30.00 for the opportunity to draw from life.
The class is limited to 10 attendees. Pre-payment reserves your space in this class so please reserve your space in the class at least 3 days before the sessions are to start.
A minimum of 4 paid participants is required for this class to be available for the month.
This is a drawing class so all solvents will be forbidden for use during this class.
Saturdays: You choose your medium!
You too can learn how to be creative while experimenting with many different materials!
This class is a study of modern and old world techniques and how artists use design principles to make a successful painting or drawing. Be it that you want to learn how to paint with the following popular mediums:

All Levels!
 Kids from 6 to 12 years old can explore a variety of art materials and techniques with Miss Tasha at The Art Store.
Cost is $15 per child, and all materials are included!

Sundays: Principles of Sculpture
Beginners to Advanced. 
K&K Studios and the Art Store offers a course on the Principles of Sculpture & Moldmaking. Enjoy building a bust of your loved one! Or creating a voluptuous form in plasteline clay with the correct supports. From designing in the round, to the proper equipment and tool techniques to moldmaking, your imagination is your only restriction.
K & K Studio's sculpture class is held at 10am-1pm on select Sundays. Open enrollment, all skill levels accepted.
Cost is $30.00 per session. Payment is due on the attending Sunday.
Schedule is dependent on instructor's schedule.
Enjoy one-on-one instruction with Art Store Owner, experienced sculptor and foundryman Keith Kendall. To be informed of when these select Sundays are available for attendees feel free to email keith@artstore.frameandi.com.

*Remember to sign up early to reserve a seat in your class, as each class has a limited number of spaces. New sessions start the first week of every month. This means you need to sign up for your class at least three days before it starts! Call us to see if spaces are available, (928)443-0749.
*Your registration is due at least three days before the start of the class. If there aren’t enough students registered by that time, the class will be cancelled until the next session and your registration will be refunded.
*Your registration helps ensure the class you want to take will happen, so don't wait! Make sure to invite your friends to take an art class with you.
*Many of the classes do not include the cost of materials. Material lists will be provided with your registration. You are welcome to bring any materials you already possess.

Refund Policy: We are paying for the instructor, lights, furniture, insurance, and staff to be there for you. There are absolutely no refunds after 48 hours prior to class for any reason. The Art Store is not responsible for providing make-ups or issuing refunds, credits or transfers for sessions missed as a result of illnesses, emergencies or other events beyond our control. Students will receive a full tuition refund only in the event that the Art Store cancels a workshop.
Students who withdraw their registration 7 days or more prior to class receive a full refund less a $10 process fee. Students who withdraw 3-6 days prior to class receive a credit voucher for a future class less a $10 process fee and a $15 drop fee ($25). Refunds or vouchers are not available for any reason to students who withdraw 48 hours or less prior to class.
CANCELLATION : In the event of class cancellation by the Art Store, you will be notified by phone or email, and receive a full refund of your tuition and fees. |
